Virginia High School Basketball - Mechanicsville overwhelmed by Hanover

The Hanover Hawks basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Mechanicsville Mustangs to 25 in the Hawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Armstrong for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7.
The Mustangs (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Varina (Richmond, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Varina triumphed over King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 78-56, in a non-league bout.
