Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mountain Vista Golden Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO), 54-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Rock Canyon upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Ponderosa (Parker, CO) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Ponderosa lost 45-37 in their recent league bout against Chaparral (Parker, CO)

Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Mountain Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 45-43 non-league loss to Arapahoe (Centennial, CO).
