In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Lincoln Fighting Zebras soccer squad scored a close 4-1 win over the Oakmont Vikings.
The Fighting Zebras (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins go into the Foothill Valley League battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Ponderosa nipped West Park (Roseville, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Vikings (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners go into the Foothill Valley League battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Nevada Union by Placer (Auburn, CA), 5-1, in a league battle.
