California High School Soccer - Nevada Union overwhelmed by Placer

The Placer Hillmen smashed the visiting Nevada Union Miners soccer squad by a margin of 5-1 in Thursday's league match.

The Hillmen now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Park for a Foothill Valley League match on Tuesday, February 7. Placer will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-6.

With the loss, Nevada Union drops to 2-10 on the season. The Miners host Oakmont (Roseville, CA) to encounter the Vikings in a Foothill Valley League match on Tuesday, February 7. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 6-5. Oakmont lost 4-1 in their recent league match against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)
