Aberdeen Central Golden Eagles (Aberdeen, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Harrisburg Tigers (Harrisburg, SD), 56-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Aberdeen Central upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD) to play the Kernels in a AA bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Kernels go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Mitchell won 59-45 in their recent league bout against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD)

Next up, the Tigers play the Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD) in a AA bout, on Friday, February 9. Harrisburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Cobblers go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 60-38 league loss to O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD).
