In Friday's league outing, the Alamogordo Tigers (Alamogordo, NM) basketball squad beat the visiting Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM), by a count of 65-56.
The Tigers (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Gadsden (Anthony, NM). The Panthers go into the 5A District 3 outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Gadsden defeated Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM), 52-47, in a league outing.
The Bulldawgs now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a 5A District 3 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Las Cruces will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 67-51 league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 10-9.
