Kansas High School Basketball - Valley Center thwarted by Andover

The Valley Center Hornets basketball team (Valley Center, KS), was toppled 68-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Andover Trojans (Andover, KS)

The Trojans now possess a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arkansas City for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II battle on Tuesday, February 6. Andover will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.

The Hornets (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Lions come into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Goddard beat Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS), 55-45, in a non-league battle.
