The Anson Tigers basketball team (Anson, TX), was nudged 49-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX)
The Pied Pipers now sport a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cisco for a 2A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Hamlin will battle a Loboes team coming off a 76-36 league win over Haskell (Haskell, TX). The Loboes record now stands at 16-8.
The Tigers (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against Albany (Albany, TX). The Lions come into the 2A Region II District 10 battle with a 5-2 record.
