North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashbrook tipped by Crest

February 2, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28054

The Crest Chargers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Ashbrook Greenwave to 62 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stuart W. Cramer for a 3A Big South contest on Tuesday, February 6. Crest will meet a Storm team coming off a 67-47 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Storm record now stands at 6-14.

The Greenwave (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Forestview (Gastonia, NC). The Jaguars enter the 3A Big South contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Forestview was nudged by North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 76-65, in a league contest.
