The Breckenridge Huskies basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Ashley Bears to 25 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

With the victory, Breckenridge upgrades its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Huskies host Sacred Heart Academy (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to play the Irish in a Mid-State challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 16-1. Sacred Heart Academy won 59-41 in their recent league challenge against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI)

Next up, the Bears play the Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) in a Mid-State challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Ashley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 53-33 league win over St. Charles (St. Charles, MI).
