The Augusta Panthers basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Bracken County Polar Bears to 61 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dixie Heights for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Augusta will battle a Colonels team coming off a 78-45 league win over Ludlow (Ludlow, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 12-9.

The Polar Bears (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Dayton (Dayton, KY). The Greendevils come into the non-league contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Dayton was routed by Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY), 67-30, in a league contest.
