Louisiana High School Basketball - Glenmora knocked off by Avoyelles

The Avoyelles Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Glenmora Wildcats to 44 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosepine for a 2A District 4 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Avoyelles will battle a Eagles team coming off a 70-40 league win over Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-11.
The Wildcats (12-15) will now prepare for their contest against Pickering (Leesville, LA). The Red Devils enter the 2A District 4 contest with a 18-9 record. In their last contest, Pickering was defeated by Oakdale (Oakdale, LA), 82-68, in a league contest.
