Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA), 92-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Narrows upgrades its record to 18-1 on the season. The Green Waves host George Wythe (Wytheville, VA) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 14-5. George Wythe lost 55-50 in their recent league bout against Auburn (Riner, VA)

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA) in a Pioneer bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Bath County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Fighting Blues go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 66-64 non-league loss to Altavista (Altavista, VA).
