Ohio High School Basketball - Beechcroft can't hold off Whetstone

The Whetstone Braves basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Beechcroft Cougars to 56 in the Braves league victory on Friday.
The Braves now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northland for a Columbus City - North contest on Tuesday, February 6. Whetstone will battle a Vikings team coming off a 49-37 league loss to Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 14-3.
The Cougars (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Linden-McKinley (Columbus, OH). The Panthers come into the Columbus City - North contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Linden-McKinley edged Northland (Columbus, OH), 49-37, in a league contest.
