Preston Pirates (Preston, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Beggs Demons (Beggs, OK), 79-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Preston upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Pirates host Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Oklahoma Union lost 53-40 in their recent league bout against Nowata (Nowata, OK)

Next up, the Demons clash with the Henryetta Knights (Henryetta, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Beggs will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 62-57 non-league loss to Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK).
