Norton Lancers (Norton, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bellingham Blackhawks (Bellingham, MA), 55-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Norton upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to Blue Hills RVT (Canton, MA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Blue Hills RVT won 54-41 in their recent league bout against Diman RVT (Fall River, MA)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Millis Mohawks (Millis, MA) in a Tri-Valley - Small bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Bellingham will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Mohawks go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 67-62 league loss to Dover-Sherborn (Dover, MA).
