With the victory, Cherryville improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to confront the Warriors in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. East Gaston won 66-64 in their recent league challenge against Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Bessemer City will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Golden Lions come into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 78-48 league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
