The Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA) basketball felled the host Bishop Fenwick Crusaders (Peabody, MA), 57-49 in Friday's league test.
The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Cardinal Spellman (Brockton, MA). The Cardinals go into the Catholic Central - Large test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Cardinal Spellman was beaten by Cathedral (Boston, MA), 70-65, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Peabody Veterans Memorial for a non-league test on Sunday, February 4. Bishop Fenwick will encounter a Tanners squad coming off a 50-45 league win over Beverly (Beverly, MA). The Tanners record now stands at 10-2.
