Nevada High School Basketball - Liberty holds off Bishop Gorman

February 2, 2024: Henderson, NV 89052

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) and the visiting Bishop Gorman Gaels (Las Vegas, NV), saw Liberty's basketball squad hold off Bishop Gorman by a tally of 72-65.

With the victory, Liberty improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Wildcats in a 5A Southern challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-14. Las Vegas won 64-58 in their recent league challenge against Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Gaels confront the Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Bishop Gorman will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record. The Skyhawks come into the challenge with a 16-9 record after their 85-66 league win over Durango (Las Vegas, NV).
