In Friday's non-league outing, the Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN) basketball squad edged the visiting Van Buren County Eagles (Spencer, TN), by a margin of 59-52.
The Warriors (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Brainerd (Chattanooga, TN). The Panthers go into the 2A District 4 outing with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Brainerd was tipped by Tyner Academy (Chattanooga, TN), 72-44, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host South Pittsburg for a 1A District 6 outing on Friday, February 9.
