South Carolina High School Basketball - Bluffton topped by Colleton County

The Colleton County Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Bluffton Bobcats to 47 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host James Island for a AAAA Region 7 contest on Saturday, February 3. Colleton County will battle a Trojans team coming off a 52-49 league win over Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 11-10.

The Bobcats (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against James Island (Charleston, SC). The Trojans come into the AAAA Region 7 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, James Island prevailed over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC), 57-55, in a league contest.
