The Blum Bobcats basketball team (Blum, TX), dropped 67-52 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Covington Owls (Covington, TX)

The Owls now possess a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morgan for a 1A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Covington will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-44 league win over Walnut Springs (Walnut Springs, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 20-1.
