Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Burbank Bulldogs (San Antonio, TX), 88-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Highlands upgrades its record to 12-18 on the season. The Owls host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to play the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Mules go into the bout with a record of 25-3. Alamo Heights won 72-45 in their recent league bout against Burbank (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Burbank will attempt to upgrade on its 6-18 season record. The Brahmas go into the bout with a 14-16 record after their 92-55 league win over Lanier (San Antonio, TX).
