The Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) basketball knocked off the host Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), 61-47 in Friday's league test.
The Boilermakers (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Chiefs go into the non-league test with a 7-18 record. In their last test, Deer Creek-Mackinaw went down by Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL), 57-56, in a non-league test.
The Storm now own a 13-13 record. They play next when they travel to Hall for a Three Rivers - East test on Tuesday, February 6. Bureau Valley will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 60-44 league loss to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 11-12.
