In Friday's league match, the host Burlington Red Devils basketball team scored a good 57-45 win over the Melrose Red Raiders.
With the win, Burlington upgrades its record to 12-5 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA) to meet the Warriors in a Middlesex contest on Tuesday, February 6. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 9-5. Wakefield Memorial won 61-50 in their recent league contest against Stoneham (Stoneham, MA)
The Red Raiders (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington (Wilmington, MA). The Wildcats enter the Middlesex contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Wilmington was outscored by Watertown (Watertown, MA), 64-60, in a league contest.
