Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Allegheny tips Butler

The North Allegheny Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Butler Golden Tornado to 63 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seneca Valley for a WPIAL 6A 1 contest on Tuesday, February 6. North Allegheny will battle a Raiders team coming off a 54-44 league loss to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-12.
The Golden Tornado (15-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings enter the WPIAL 6A 1 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Central Catholic was nudged by New Castle (New Castle, PA), 54-48, in a league contest.
