In Friday's league outing, the Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Calhoun Sandcrabs (Port Lavaca, TX), by a margin of 70-43.

The Pirates (19-12) will now prepare for their outing against Ingleside (Ingleside, TX). The Mustangs go into the 4A Region IV District 30 outing with a 14-10 record. In their last outing, Ingleside was trounced by Sinton (Sinton, TX), 69-47, in a league outing.

The Sandcrabs now own a 1-22 record. They play next when they travel to West Oso for a 4A Region IV District 30 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Calhoun will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 51-43 league win over Jones (Beeville, TX). The Bears record now stands at 16-12.
