The Cannon Falls Bombers basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Goodhue Wildcats to 65 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bombers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Esko for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Cannon Falls will battle a Eskomos team coming off a 84-59 non-league win over Carlton/Wrenshall (Carlton, MN). The Eskomos record now stands at 14-4.
The Wildcats (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Byron (Byron, MN). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Byron was defeated by Fridley (Fridley, MN), 52-51, in a non-league contest.
