The Wesclin Warriors basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians to 46 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freeburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Wesclin will meet a Midgets team coming off a 64-51 non-league loss to Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Midgets record now stands at 16-12.
The Indians/Lady Indians (19-8) will now prepare for their contest against Goreville (Goreville, IL). The Blackcats enter the non-league contest with a 23-2 record. In their last contest, Goreville nudged Christopher (Christopher, IL), 56-42, in a league contest.
