Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad smash the visiting Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, MO), 66-26 in a league game.

In their next game, the Minutemen face the Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) in a Missouri River Valley - East game, on Tuesday, February 6. Lexington will attempt to move on its 13-6 season record. The Huskers enter the game with a 21-1 record after their 68-67 non-league win over Hogan Prep Charter (Kansas City, MO).

With the defeat, Carrollton moves to 6-12 on the year. The Trojans travel to Sweet Springs (Sweet Springs, MO) to face the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Monday, February 5.
