Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), 52-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Galena upgrades its record to 12-12 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Reed (Sparks, NV) to play the Raiders in a 4A Northern bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 14-10. Reed won 72-35 in their recent league bout against Carson (Carson City, NV)

Next up, the Senators play the Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 9-15 record after their 52-45 league loss to Reno (Reno, NV).
