Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Cedartown Bulldogs (Cedartown, GA), saw Central's basketball squad wallop Cedartown by a tally of 63-41.

With the victory, Central improves its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to confront the Bruins in a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 16-8. Northwest Whitfield won 62-61 in their recent league challenge against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders (Dalton, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Cedartown will attempt to improve on its 11-13 season record.
