The Central Heights Blue Devils basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Huntington Red Devils to 43 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 12-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hemphill for a 3A Region III District 21 bout on Tuesday, February 6. Central Heights will play a Hornets squad coming off a 76-61 league win over Pineywoods Community Academy (Lufkin, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 11-11.

Next up, the Red Devils play the Diboll Lumberjacks (Diboll, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Huntington will attempt to upgrade on its 9-22 season record. The Lumberjacks go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 58-40 league win over Newton (Newton, TX).
