The Chatham Panthers basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks to 58 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granville for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Chatham will battle a Golden Horde team coming off a 59-46 league loss to Lake George (Lake George, NY). The Golden Horde record now stands at 10-6.

The Riverhawks (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Schoharie (Schoharie, NY). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Schoharie triumphed over Middleburgh (Middleburgh, NY), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
