The Clinton Red Devils routed the host Chester Cyclones basketball team by a final score of 79-55 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Red Devils face the Emerald Vikings (Greenwood, SC) in a AAA Region 4 game, on Tuesday, February 6. Clinton will attempt to move on its 13-7 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 9-15 record after their 49-38 league loss to Union County (Union, SC).

With the defeat, Chester moves to 4-12 on the year.
