The West Sabine Tigers basketball team (Pineland, TX), was nudged 53-47 in Friday's league contest with the host Chireno Owls (Chireno, TX)

The Owls now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corrigan-Camden for a 2A Region III District 24 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Chireno will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-47 league loss to San Augustine (San Augustine, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 24-7.

The Tigers (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region III District 24 contest with a 25-7 record. In their last contest, Corrigan-Camden nudged Chireno (Chireno, TX), 54-27, in a league contest.
