Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Civic Memorial Eagles (Bethalto, IL), 51-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Waterloo upgrades its record to 15-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 15-10. Edwardsville lost 45-44 in their recent league bout against Belleville East (Belleville, IL)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Roxana Shells (Roxana, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Civic Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 11-16 season record. The Shells go into the bout with a 17-10 record after their 68-29 league win over East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL).
