Kentucky High School Basketball - Metcalfe County ripped by Cumberland County

The Cumberland County Panthers basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Metcalfe County Hornets to 57 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson County for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Cumberland County will battle a Generals team coming off a 75-53 league loss to Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Generals record now stands at 10-10.
The Hornets (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Campbellsville was routed by Adair County (Columbia, KY), 83-66, in a league contest.
