Fans at Friday's league contest between the Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX) and the host Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), saw Klondike's basketball team triumph over Dawson by a score of 68-30.

The Cougars now sport a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loop for a 1A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, February 6.

The Dragons (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Sands (Ackerly, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 8 contest with a 17-9 record. In their last contest, Sands triumphed over Grady (Lenorah, TX), 38-34, in a league contest.
