The DeLaSalle Islanders basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host St. Anthony Village Huskies to 54 in the Islanders league victory on Friday.
The Islanders now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayzata for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. DeLaSalle will battle a Trojans team coming off a 98-87 non-league win over Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 17-1.
The Huskies (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Fridley prevailed over Byron (Byron, MN), 52-51, in a non-league contest.
