The Pearsall Mavericks basketball team (Pearsall, TX), dropped 60-50 in Friday's league battle with the host Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX)
The Warhorses now possess a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floresville for a 4A Region IV District 29 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Devine will battle a Tigers team coming off a 54-45 league win over Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 22-7.
The Mavericks (17-16) will now prepare for their battle against Somerset (Somerset, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Region IV District 29 battle with a 20-11 record. In their last battle, Somerset prevailed over Devine (Devine, TX), 65-43, in a league battle.
