The DeWitt Clinton Governors basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Evander Childs Tigers to 53 in the Governors league victory on Friday.
The Governors now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Hayes for a non-league contest on Sunday, February 4. DeWitt Clinton will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 90-62 league loss to St. Raymond Boys (Bronx, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-10.
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tuitt (Bronx, NY). The go into the PSAL AAA Bronx bout with a 12-1 record. In their last bout, Tuitt topped Roosevelt Educational (Bronx, NY), 81-61, in a league bout.
