Marionville Comets (Marionville, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO), 73-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Marionville upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Comets travel to Ash Grove (Ash Grove, MO) to clash with the Pirates in a Southwest bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 12-7. Ash Grove won 88-71 in their recent non-league bout against Conway (Conway, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Greenfield Wildcats (Greenfield, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Diamond will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-18 record after their 81-40 non-league win over Everton (Everton, MO).
