The Picayune Maroon Tide basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting D'Iberville Warriors to 42 in the Maroon Tide non-league triumph on Friday.
The Maroon Tide now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Harrison for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Picayune will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 68-33 league loss to Long Beach (Long Beach, MS). The Hurricanes record now stands at 16-11.
The Warriors (9-18) will now prepare for their contest against Gulfport (Gulfport, MS). The Admirals enter the 7A Region 4 contest with a 7-17 record. In their last contest, Gulfport nudged Gautier (Gautier, MS), 42-35, in a non-league contest.
