The Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK) basketball crushed the visiting Durant Lions (Durant, OK), 44-23 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Coweta (Coweta, OK). The Tigers go into the 5A District 4 test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, Coweta was trounced by Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK), 59-54, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Will Rogers College for a 5A District 4 test on Saturday, February 3. Durant will encounter a Ropers squad coming off a 58-40 league loss to Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK). The Ropers record now stands at 7-13.
