Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN), 72-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eagan upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Lakeville South won 72-70 in their recent league bout against Farmington (Farmington, MN)

Next up, the Irish play the Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Rosemount will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 85-60 non-league loss to Shakopee (Shakopee, MN).
