Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) and the host East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY), saw Morgan County's basketball squad hold off East Carter by a count of 60-56.

With the victory, Morgan County upgrades its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY) to play the Lions in a District 62 challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-18.

Next up, the Raiders play the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. East Carter will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record.
