In Friday's league outing, the Easton Bears (Easton, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME), by a margin of 78-42.
The Bears (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME). The Pioneers go into the D North outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Wisdom was trounced by Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME), 65-30, in a league outing.
The Beavers now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host East Grand for a D North outing on Monday, February 5. Washburn will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 76-18 league loss to Shead (Eastport, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 1-17.
