The Eisenhower Knights basketball team (Russell, PA), was nudged 53-52 in Friday's league battle with the host Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA)
The Panthers now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Youngsville for a District 10 Region 2 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Saegertown will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-47 league loss to Union City (Union City, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
The Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA). The Tigers come into the District 10 Region 2 battle with a 1-17 record. In their last battle, Maplewood was nudged by Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA), 51-31, in a league battle.
