The Elgin Owls basketball team (Elgin, OK), was overwhelmed 68-30 in Friday's league battle with the host El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK)
The Indians now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Heights for a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, February 6.
The Owls (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Guthrie (Guthrie, OK). The Bluejays come into the 5A District 1 battle with a 17-3 record. In their last battle, Guthrie was overwhelmed by Carl Albert (Midwest City, OK), 60-41, in a league battle.
